Moment
| mo•ment | A brief, indefinite
interval of time | A specific point in time, especially the present
time | A particular period of importance, influence, or significance
in a series of events or developments
Moments are all around us. Sometimes they’re small, like a quick
glance at your bouquet. Sometimes they’re huge, like the overwhelming
joy of you’ll feel during your first kiss. Your wedding will be
filled with hundreds of moments and you’ll want to hold on to
every single one of them. It can be tough though, even as hard as you
try. Often these indefinite periods of time can leave us as fast as
they come and all we have left is a memory.
Your photographer’s job is to
capture the moments of your day so the memories of your wedding will
never fade. Husband and Wife photographers Tom and Meredith Feisel,
know the importance of your wedding photographs. “We want to make
sure we capture the essence of the wedding,” says Tom, “Each
wedding is so unique, and it’s important to approach each one
with a fresh eye. You won’t find us doing any cookie-cutter photography.”
This approach shows through in their
work. “You’ll really get a sense of how we’ll photograph
your wedding by looking through our galleries,” says Meredith,
“And keep an eye on our blog too, Tommy updates it all the time
with the most recent weddings we’ve photographed.”
Tom and Meredith live in Columbus, Ohio
but serve all of Ohio. Tom started New Age Foto in Akron, Ohio and frequently
travels to Cleveland for his clients. They’re both available to
travel world wide.
Planning your wedding can be a daunting task at times, below is a
list of Frequently Asked Questions to make it easier!

years. Meredith, although newer to weddings, has had a passion for
photography since high school.

often assist and act as a second photographer as needed.
Do you have a standard shot /set up list?
Tom and Meredith will work with you before the wedding to find out
what parts of the day mean the most to you and make sure to focus
on those. Tom has been photographing weddings for a long time and
knows which moments are important to every bride. Because of his
free-style approach though, Tom does not work from a list while photographing
your wedding. He says, “While trying to photograph everything
on a list, I might end up missing your wedding!” Tom
depends on building trust and relationships before the wedding so
that lists are never needed.
Can I see samples from the photographer shooting my wedding?
All of the work and examples on our website are REAL weddings photographed
by Tom.
Where have you photographed weddings before?
Tom has photographed at many of NEO’s and central Ohio’s
most popular wedding venues, like Windows on the River, The Arcade,
The Wyndham, the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls, Guy’s Party
Center, Glenmoore Country Club, Firestone Country Club, Stan Hywet
Gardens, Fieldcrest in North Canton, and more. Call tom or shoot him
an email to find out if he’s photographed at your venue.
How will New Age
Foto coordinate with the my other vendors?
We’re happy to work with you and your other wedding vendors before
the wedding if necessary. At the wedding, Tom will communicate with
coordinators and Dj’s in a way that benefits everyone.
Approximately how many photographs will you take during the day?
Because of our free-style approach, there are no limits to the number
of photographs we take. It is normal for Tom to take at least 800-1,000
photographs during your wedding.
How many of those pictures will be in my proof gallery after the wedding?
Typically you can expect anywhere between 500-800 photographs in your
proof gallery.
How many hours prior to the ceremony will you arrive?
That all depends on your schedule. It is preferred to begin photographs
of the Bridal Party’s preparations 2 hours before the ceremony
begins. During this time we photograph the Bride and Groom getting
ready (separately of course!) and also some light portraiture of
each the B+G with their Parents, Grandparents and Bridal Party members.
How will you dress for the day?
Business casual, Tom is always in a pair of dress slacks and an appropriate
shirt. Being comfortable allows Tom to run around as much as
he does. Suites and Tuxedos are available for black tie events by
request.

We photograph with only the finest, state of the art equipment. Currently,
Tom works with a Nikon D3, the most advanced Digital SLR in the world,
